Please bring a valid photo ID or driver’s license, a list of current medications, and any required medical documentation such as CPAP compliance reports, diabetes records, or specialist clearance letters if applicable.

Most commercial drivers need a DOT physical every 24 months. However, some drivers may receive a shorter certification period depending on their medical history or examination findings. And if you are in good health, can even recieve a 2 year certification.

Your Certified Medical Examiner will review your medical history and perform a physical examination that includes:

• Vision screening

• Hearing screening

• Blood pressure and pulse check

• Urinalysis

• Physical examination required by FMCSA guidelines

No. The urinalysis performed during a DOT physical is used to screen for certain medical conditions such as diabetes or kidney issues. It is not a drug test.

Certification depends on your blood pressure reading and FMCSA requirements. If your blood pressure is elevated, Dr. Jessica Torrence will explain your certification options and any follow-up that may be needed.

Yes. Dr. Jessica Torrence is a Certified Medical Examiner listed on the FMCSA National Registry and is qualified to perform DOT physical examinations.

Our DOT physicals are $120 when paying with cash or $123.40 when paying by credit or debit card (includes the card processing fee).

If your employer reimburses you for your DOT physical, we're happy to provide a detailed receipt for reimbursement.

Payment is due at the time of service.
